Join us for "Race & Surveillance" with I’LL MEET YOU THERE. In a panel discussion, you will have the opportunity to hear from experts who will discuss the presence and impact of racial and religious surveillance in America. Experts will include Margari Hill of MuslimARC, Michael German of the Brennan Center for Justice, Ramzi Kassem of CUNY Clear, Farhana Khera of Muslim Advocates, with moderation by Kashif Shaikh of Pillars Fund.
The evening is being presented by the Pillars Fund with non-profit beneficiaries including Muslim Advocates, whose mission is "working in the courts, in the halls of power, and in communities to halt bigotry in its tracks" and CUNY Clear, whose mission is "to support Muslim and all other client, communities, and movements in the New York City area and beyond that are targeted by local, state, or federal government agencies under the guise of national security and counterterrorism."
